If you are struggling right now, support is free and available 24/7. Find a helpline in your country

Get in touch

We read everything. We cannot offer clinical advice or support, but we fix errors quickly.

Email

The mailbox is not open yet. [email protected] is the address it will use, and it is listed here so it can be checked rather than discovered to be dead. Until it accepts mail, nothing sent to it will reach anyone.

Please do not send personal health information. We are not a clinical service and cannot hold it securely. That is by design.

If a crisis number here is wrong

This is the one thing that cannot wait for a mailbox. Every helpline on the crisis page is listed with the country it serves, so if a number fails, use another route in your country rather than waiting for us: search for your national helpline directly, call your local emergency number, or go to an emergency department.

We verify these numbers quarterly, and we would rather say plainly that reporting is not working yet than imply somebody is watching an inbox.

What we especially want to hear

  • A crisis number that does not work. Treated as urgent. An out-of-date helpline is the worst failure this site can have.
  • A scoring error. If a result disagrees with a published scoring manual, tell us which instrument and what you expected. Our logic is documentedso it can be checked.
  • An explanation that confuses or upsets. Wording that lands badly on someone struggling is a real defect, not a matter of taste.
  • A rights enquiry. If you are an author or publisher and something in ourlicensing register is wrong, it will be corrected immediately.

What we cannot do

We cannot interpret your results for you, advise on treatment, or provide support in a crisis. None of that is a brush-off. Doing it badly, at a distance, from a website, would cause harm. Crisis lines are staffed by people trained for exactly this, and they are free.
